I knew very little about Yoga until 6 months ago, from that very first day Karen has now guided me through Hatha Yoga.
I’ve always enjoyed swimming and running to burn off the additional calories that accompany my social visits to the pub.
The stretches and breathing exercises in Karen’s class are low impact yet incredibly effective at targeting particular muscles and joints. I find that going to Karen’s class burns off calories.
Yoga has also helped me to chill out as it gives me space to focus my mind. Since starting Yoga I’ve lost a healthy amount of weight, feel stronger, swim faster, run faster and a new awareness of listening to my body…….. Mark

I wanted to express my thanks for helping me discover Hatha Yoga.
18 years ago I suffered a severe back injury.
My osteopath hounded me to start Yoga, but due to a fear of aggravating it further I ignored her advice. At first I was sceptical, but after 8-12 weeks of 2 classes a week, my pain level dropped dramatically and has now disappeared.
I know that regular practise is the only way I am able to maintain this level of freedom.

I was hooked after the first class. Almost 12 years have passed and I’ve hardly missed a class.
Karen is a fantastic practitioner and excellent teacher, instilling a love of yoga in us with passion and compassion.
She incorporates a wonderful sense of humour, personality and style into each session, teaching in a genuine, empathetic and non-judgemental way that focuses on connecting the body and mind.
She tailors the classes to suit the participants and takes the time to provide guidance and prepare new participants, pregnant women and people with injuries.
